Skills required
The Learning for Living programme has been designed to make
learning easy and enjoyable. You only need to have very basic computer
skills, for example be able to key in small amounts of text and to move
and click on things with a mouse. The Show me pages will give you a feel
for what skills you'll need. It features:
- Small amounts of text on screen at any time, to make reading easy
and to limit the need for scrolling.
- Click-on options to reveal further information and to check answers
to questions.
- Standard icons for different elements in the programme.
- Easy saving of any work to an online folder.
- Easy access to your tutor via an e-mail link.
- 'Hyperlinks' to related information within any topic, so that you
do not need to search.
- Easy access to websites for resources and ideas for further learning
and exploration.
